The most sustainable instrument is the one that never needs replacing.
Our test instruments are engineered for decades of service: precision mechanics that hold their accuracy, electronics designed for calibration and repair rather than disposal, and software that keeps every instrument current for its whole life. An instrument delivered fifteen years ago still tests today.
Recycled wood as a structural material
We build with recycled wood as a structural element: in the housings of our Desktop Series instruments — the J123, the J161 and the JD10-P — and in the protective cover of the R-Series, alongside aluminium and carbon fibre. It is a deliberate choice: a renewable material, doing a structural job, in an instrument built for the long term.
Efficient by design
Our Variator Drive converts continuous rotation into oscillation mechanically. The motor is sized for the work delivered, not for the force held — so our platforms deliver high forces on modest power.
Responsible operations
We reduce waste and recycle across our operations, comply with all applicable environmental regulations, and guide our customers on end-of-life handling of instruments and components.
