We build two kinds of test systems, because engineers come to us with two kinds of questions. Start with yours.

Path A — Which locking element performs best?

Some questions are best answered by a standard. When you need to compare locking elements — wedge washers, locknuts, adhesives, thread geometries — under identical, repeatable, internationally recognised conditions, the answer is standardised comparison testing to DIN 65151, DIN 25201-4 and ISO 16130.

The reference instruments for standardised Junker testing. Compact enough for any laboratory, quiet enough to sit beside your desk, and precise enough that laboratories on every continent trust their certification work to them. Two models, one difference: the fastener sizes they serve.

Path B — How do I design the best bolted joint?

Standards compare locking elements on a standardised specimen. Your product is not a standardised specimen. The R-Series applies controlled transverse shear force through your actual joint — real parts, real interfaces, real friction — and measures how it responds. The slip you observe is the joint’s answer, not the instrument’s input. That distinction is the foundation of everything on this path.

Real-joint validation platforms, engineered to order. Your production parts are carried into the platform on the Universal Specimen Carrier and loaded exactly as service will load them. Each platform is sized to your fastener range and your force levels — no over-design, no under-design.

Real products are not shaken in one direction. The RDX platform applies controlled dynamic excitation in multiple directions — for bolted joints, threaded connections and structural assemblies that live in complex loading environments.

Long-Term Creep and Embedding Test Platform

Long-Term Creep and Embedding Test Platform

Some joints fail in minutes. Others lose clamping force silently, over months — through embedding, creep and relaxation, with no rotation at all. This platform is built to watch preload evolve over the timescales that matter: days, weeks, years.
